Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder 735-4203 Ear) and Muxine Riggs and her brother Mr. Montague and wife, Clearfield, visited Earl's folks, Mr and Mrs. Orlas Riggs and also stayed at his trailer house at the Riggs farm. Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs visited their children in Salt Lake City Mrs Lorraine Randolph, Cedar City brought her daughter Gloria Jean here to visit the Dallas Barnhursts this week. Merlin Barnhurst, Salt Lake City; visit Dallas and family and Maggie Barnhurst Visiting during the week with the Wiley Huntingtons were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Moore and children, Lehi on their way to visit Disneyland. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kaboni and sons, Mr. and Mrs Lowell Huntington and Elizabeth; Allen Huntington and children, Kanab and the Stan Huntingtons, Cedar City. Visiting Mr and Mrs. Oliver Huntington were Melodie Russell, St. George; and Susan Russell, Calif Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lowder and children, Gold Hill, Oregon arrived at the Karl Lowders to visit a week. Visitors with them and to enjoy a family dinner were the Max Burrows. Fredonia, Velta, Verla and Vaneta Sawyer, Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bailey, Minersville. Later in the day were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Riggs and Rebecca, Panguitch. A large percent of our ward members attended stake conference in Panguitch. Speakers in sacrament meeting with Lucille and Wiley Huntington and' Jesse Lowder. Kurt Sawyer and Phyllis Back, Cedar City were visitors at the David Sawyers. Mr and Mrs Ed Turek received word of a new granddaughter. She arrived in the Kane County Hospital to brent and Lyn Turek. Ed and Julia visited Brent and family in Kanab and to get acquainted with the new baby. Visiting the Tureks during the week were Bishop and Mrs. Wynn Turek and family, Washington, Ut and Brent Turek. Effel Riggs and UM Wilson went to Beaver to proofread the last chapter of the History of Hatch. Visiting Effel were Francis Workman a former member of our town from Rifle, Colo, and his son Kenneth, Roy, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Campbell, St. George have been here at their home several days then they toured to Boulder to meet the Allen Taylors, Bountiful and enjoy the scenery around Eastern Garfield County. Ike Robertson, Cedar City visited several days with the Leland Riggs. His mother Myrtle Robertson came and took him home. Kendall Gifford, Springdale visited overnight with the Sam Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Olsen, Sunset visited her mother Abbie Fallis Idonna Rose, Elaine Deuel took Abbie to Panguitch one day and they accompanied Reva Lowder to Cedar City. Brent Robinson and Casey Dix visited them one day. Val Dean Deuel and Brad Riggs attended the rodeo at Bryce. |
