Show Cleanup Program Begins To kick off Panguitch Cleanup Week, LeAnn Bridges, painted the Are station doors and fire hydrants a bright red. She a iso helped clean the park and is painting the trim at the public library. With the help of other employees under the direction of Kirk Lusty, supervisor over the town program, many of the green trash boxes will be painted; improvements will bem ade at the park, grass will be planted between the pavillion and the tennis court and the area around the tennis court fence will be improved Other improvements will be cleaning and mowing sides of streets and ditch banks throughout the town. The city council encourages everyone to get the spirit of cleaning up Panguitch and to start cleaning their own yards. Consultants will be available free of charge to help individuals determine and set goals for their own beautification projects. If anyone has any suggestions for town beautification programs please call the city office at 676-2311. |
