Show Tourist Representatives Tour Southern Utah Area Last week Bill Duckett of the Color Country Advertising committee and Ken Draus, Information director of the Utah Travel Cou cil were hosts to AAA touring representatives from California area. The group, whose responsibility is to plan trips for others or help them plan trips, was met at a plane In Las Vegas. They toured Zion Canyon and vieitod people from all over the world for about three hours. That evening they visited movie sets outside Kanab. On the way to the movie set a group of bandits captured them and took them to the campfire where they all enjoyed an old fashioned dutch oven dinner. The next day they visited the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Pipe Springs and lunched at Thun-derbird. They had a banquet that evening at Ruby's Inn where they stayed. The trip to Bryce Canyon in many of the representatives minds turned out to be highlight of the trip. They then went to Bryce Cedar Breaks, Brian Head, Mt, Holley Resort and stayed at Beaver that evening. They then went to Kolob section of Zions on the way back to Las Vegas, 1 |
