Show Henrieville MelbaD. Smith !7-8572 The Relief Society celebrated it's birthday anniversary on March 17th with a dinner and program at the chapel for members and their partners. There were 68 In attendance and a very good time was had. Thayne Smith visited one day last week with his mother Minnie Smith, brother Tom and other relatives. Kay and Laura Clark spent Sunday here and went to Panguitch on Monday for business matters then returned to Glen Canyon. Ken and Artolse Piatt and family spent the weekend at her parents, Dave and Delpha Rose's home. Ed Smith spent a couple of days home last week with the Layton Smiths. There were a lot of people from here attended the State Basketball Tournament in support of the Bryce Valley team. Everyone is proud of the way the boys played. A potluck dinner was held at the school for all fans to honor the Mustangs, J.V. team, Bantam teams, girls basketball team, Brycettes Drill Team, cheerleaders, coaches and advisors. The program in sacrament meeting was members of the Escalante Seminary and teacher Brother Fontaine. Jeff Johnson and Leslie Barker were home from their employment ever the weekend. |
