Show Cannonville Betty Henderson 679-8592 Camping, Ashing and visiting seems to be the favorite recreation on a holiday weekend. Louise and Don Mangum took their family camping on the East Fork. The Joe Hughes camped and fished at Barker Reservoir. Mr. and Mrs. Olha Henderson and son, Harold and Lorna Peterson and family took their mother, Fern Henderson to Otter Creek fishing. Marva and Clele Fletcher were also at Otter Creek Fishing. The Kendall Duttons and Don 'Aliens were at their favorite fishing hole, Wide Hollow. Selena Stock had more than me usual reason tor ceieoraung July 4th. It was her 7th birthday and she entertained a few friends before going to Escalante with her grandfather, LaFay Coleman to visit the Dan Colemans. Attending the birthday celebration in addition to grandfather Coleman, was her grandmother Stock, Helen Dutton, Pauline Fletcher, Junior and Billy Dutton and Alan Stock. Maggie and Grant Mangam of Murray were weekend guests of Mandy and Ariel Fletcher. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Henderson of Denver, Colo, have been vacationing here and visiting their mother, Alta Henderson. Nellie Higbee of Salt Lake City and her daughter, JoAnne Young spent a few days with Racheal Thompson. Bishop and Mrs. Hamblin are home after a trip to Unitah where they visited their family and Kimberly had a ton-silectomy. She is getting along fine. Leida Dunham is back in the Panguitch Hospital and still feeling poorly. The Merwin Dunahm family of Dugway are visiting their mother, Alice Dunham. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stock and son, Alan went to Kanab on Saturday and discovered the shortest way doesn't necessarily mean the quickest way home. Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Henderson and family of Jerome, Ida. are doing some sightseeing here and spent Saturday afternoon visiting with sister, Beatrice Dutton and brothers, Melvin and Elmer Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stock of Gunnison visited with Bert Stock, Sunday. Wilma Dutton and children are visiting with Nola Davis in Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson have been up north visiting their children. They visited sons, Golden of Clearfield and Dorr of Lehi and their daughters, Dixie Munson of Kearns and Colleett LaDell in Salt Lake City. The holiday weekend brought guests from far and near to the Angus Baldwell home. They were Irene and Dick Englow, Hawaii-, Coy and Beth Dellome, Richland, Washington; BiU and Virginia Wilson, Kaysville; Dan and Eva Heaton and Mrs. Ann Clover, Kanab; and Joel and Ira Wilson, Salt Lake City. The group traveled to Boulder, Saturday for a good time. A buckeroo breakfast held in the social hall started the 4th of July festivities. |
