Show Doctors Open Garfield Practices Dr. Harry Cavanagh, left an J Dr. Donald Lappe have arrived In Panguitch to open general practices. They will be located in the new clinic building adjacent to new Garfield County ' HtxplUl. I Two of three doctors scheduled to set up practices in Panguitch have arrived, with the third scheduled to be here in October Dr Harry Cavanagh and Dr Donald Lappe are now working at the old hospital and will be moving into the new $50,ooo medical clinic next week. The third doctor, Dr. SUn Bezek, is due to arrive Oct i The three doctor are coming to Panguitch through the National Health Service Corps, an arm of the U.S. Public Health Serivce. Their education is based on the most modern knowledge available, therefore they want you to be prepared for there may be some changes made in the medical practice, new ideas, new methods of treatment. Dr Cavanagh and hiw wife, Jean will be here for at least two ears and possibly will stay after that. Dr. Cavanagh feels he wanU to become a general practitioner, therefore he is going into this line for the next two years to .see if this is the field he wants to i y into or if he would rather t pecialize in a field. Dr Lappe will be here one year at which time he will to Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. where he will specialize in cardiology. "What we are tyring to deliver to the community is medical care comparable to the best anywhere in the country," said Dr. Lappe. He also added the equipment for the hospital and medical clinic are the most modern and the personnel and staff workers, are "real tops". The doctors would also like to help the people of this area work on preventive care as well as emergency care.
