Show r: Hotch Happenings BY REVA LOWDER Mr. and Mrs. Fred Houston and baby son of Logan visited at the Oliver Huntingtons Monday. Janet and baby accompanied the Darol Allreds and the Huntingtons to Cedar City and Puffer Lake. Sunday Mrs. Pat Dix and children of Pangultch visited them. Attending the John Hatch reunion at Tropic Reservoir were the J. Ivor Rlggs, Mrs. J. E. Riggs, the Mervin Barn-hursts, Diann and Dale Porter. Dcloy Evans has employment In Las Vegas. He brought Kelly Barnhurst and spent the weekend with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans. Visiting with Mrs. J. E. Riggs and the J. Ivor Rlggs are the Dan Chipmans of Canada, the Oscar Larsens of Roy, the Kay Browns of Orem; the Wallace Heaps of Cedar visited them a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap are having a new house built. The Don Heaps of Escalante visited the Heaps. Thursday, Hope, Barbara and Jennifer Dalton, and Mrs. Gib Clark of Kanab visited In Cedar with the Wayne Stubbs, Gary and Thclma Clark. Friday, Bruce Dalton visited overnight with the John Baileys and brought Bonnie here to visit the Daltons until Monday. A large number of our people attended the pageant at the Manti Temple last week. Effel Riggs fell over a sprinkling system there and had stitches taken in her leg, she is staying with the Forrest Hills in Gunnison. The Eric Barnhursts came back from Richfield Saturday with a new car. Dorothy Johnson of Nevada visited her mother Abble Fal-lis and got her son Dee who has been visiting here. Thursday they all accompanied Idon-na Deuel and Rose Elaine to the Shakespearean play; Friday, Mrs. Johnson, Dee and Mrs. Fallis visited the Garn Blackburns in Ordervllle. Several ward members put a new roof on Mrs. Deuel's house. Speakers in meeting Sunday were Darol Allred, Stake Sunday School Supt. James Hatch and Stake High councilman D. A. Tebbs. Special number was a piano and organ duet by Barbara Dalton and Elaine T. Riggs. Stevan Woodard of Enoch is visiting at the Lcland Rlggs. Visiting the Arthur Sawyers is their daughter Bernice and children of Las Vegas. The Stanley Huntingtons of Cedar, the Allen Huntingtons of Kanab, Carlyle Evans of Beaver and David Dodds of Panguitch visited the Wiley Huntingtons. The David Sawyers visited in Cedar Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duckett and friends Lois and Willard of San Diego visited in Salt Lake last week; the Ducketts have a new car. Kerry Carpenter of Kanab visited the Ducketts. . The Lloyd Gatherums of Eagle Mt, Calif, visited for two weeks at the Bob Hendersons. Mr. Gatherum received word that his brother-in-law of Salt Lake was killed in a plane wreck recently by Las Vegas, they went up north Thurday to visit his sister and family. Visiting the Ed Tureks Saturday to help Julia celebrate her birthday were the Wynn Tureks and Ada Nordell from Washington, and Florence Heaton of Alton. Visitors at the Same Evans were the Avard Giffords of Calif.; the Kirk Evans who took Vaughn back to Las Vegas to visit them this week. The Al Wllhelms of Las Ve- gas and Laura Pendleton of St. George visited the Orson Darn-hursts. Visitors at the Gale Wllcocks were the Findley McDonalds, the Norman Hendersons, the " Gam Wilcocks of Kanab; the Harry Von Mccdcns of Calif.; Mrs. Lamond Davis and children, their son Gale stayed ov-ernifiht. The Hilery Workmans visited the James Burrows Monday and took Mrs. Workman back to Blue Bell with them to visit and have a reunion with her sisters. |
