Mrs. Effel Rifgs and Omega Campbell went to Elainore on Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs Lenora Madaen, who was an aunt of Mrs. Wilsons Gal Wllcock and E. P. Turek were the speaker! In Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mark Lyon of Salt Lake City visited at the Grant Daltons on Tuesday. Thursday Shannon Clark of Kanab visited the Dal tons enroute to Salt Lake City. She was an over night guest with her aunt Mrs. Barton Swapp Bruce of CSU. at Cedar and Grant from his Job at Green River were home for the weekend. Sunday Bruce and Dennis visited and attended meeting in Panguitch, Gib and Shannon Clark visited the Daltons part of the weekend and took some of Bruce's school supplies to Cedar for him. The Ronald Russell family left last Tuesday for California where he will be employed until spring. George Workman went to the Veterans' Hospital for s check-up and medical care. Visiting Mrs. S. B. Rlggs and other relatives Thursday were the Jay Mlckelsens of Nephl. Mrs. Forrest Hill of Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. Grandon Porter of Cedar and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Callahan of Kingston. They also attended the funeral. Eddie Jones, of Sprlngdale. brought his mother, Mrs. Albert Jones, here Sunday to visit her daughter and family, the Clark L. Evans. Mrs. Lynn Evans and Deloy accompanied Mrs. Delin Crofts and sons of Panguitch to Las Vegas to visit the Ervln Jensens. Cedar City visitors from here Friday were the Eric Barn-hursts, on Saturday, the Dav Id Sawyers. Thursday Mr. snd Mrs. Dune Findlay of Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shakespear of Tropic visited the Sawyers and also their mother Beryl Sawyer. They also attended the funeral. Lane Burrows of Panguitch spent the weekend at the Sawyers. Mrs. Orson Barnhurst returned home from Las Vegas where she has been tending her Woodard grandchildren. She reports Jack Woodard Is feeling better from his operation and expects to be home from the Los Angeles Hospital this week. The Merlin Barn-hursts of Salt Lake visited his folks and went to the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap and Mrs. J. E. Rlggs went to meeting in Cedar Sunday where their new grandson was blessed by his father Wallace Heap and he was given the name of Michael Wallace. Mr snd Mrs. Don Ilesp and son flew from their home In Mess, Arizona. They came to Cedar where the Garth Heaps met them Tuesday. They stayed on until Monday snd attended the funeral services for his grand-father Mrs. Calvin Wilson returned to St George to visit her mother for a while. The Doyle Hancocks and Sharon Mundy visited in St George over the weekend A large number of our ward members attended Stake Con ference in Panguitch Saturday evening and Sunday. Fran ds Porter and Karl Wilson were ordained to the office of elder In the L. D. S Church. |
