Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR Thelma Jolley received word of a new granddaughter, born to the Rulon Jolleys of St. George. ' Kay Griffin, Gail Ott, Laura Mangum, Suzann Wintch were home for the weekend. Marcia Cope fractured some ribs when she slipped and fell last week. Betty Lou Wintch wrote that, she spent Easter in Salt Lake, the first time in 20 years that all seven sisters had been together. She sends her best wishes to friends in Tropic. Will and Ada Shakespcar spent the weekend in town. Lydia Pollock received a broken arm when she 'fell from a horse. Pat Pollock is still In the hospital recovering from pneumonia. Jane Sudwecks is home after spending two weeks in Salt Lake and Ogden with her sons. When she returned son Rodney and family and daughter Leda Pratt and family visited with her. Brown Keeley of Heber visited several days at the Stan Mechams, he and Stan went on some lion hunts. Our high school track team won second place honors in the invitational meet at Valley last week. |
