Show Live TV to Spark GOP Mass Meeting The Republicans plan a first for Utah politics April 27th when they will use a' locally produced television program as the main feature of their mass meetings. Both political parties hold mas3 meetings .'the ssme day to elect voting district officers and delegates to- the county convert- . tion. Ths . State Republican Central Committee exgects thousands of people to attend the 1239 meetings the Republicans will hold in every corner of the state. State GOP Chairman Ray M. Child said "we expect the television program to give a uninimi-ty to the meetings which could ba achieved !ri no other way." Tha program will be broadcast on KSL-TV Channel 5. from C:00 to 8:50 VM. Mr. Child urged each mass meeting chairman to make a television set the center of the meeting in his district "We will nlve instructions to party members throughout the state and introduce GOP candidates for state and federal office", he added. District procedure and organization will also be discussed by state officials.
