Show The Word From Boulder BY ALICE ALVEY LeFair Hall, Leland Haws, Truman Lyman and the Burns Ormonds were all in Richfield 'last week on business. The Bill Winters and Darrell Alvey went for dental care on the 14. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Coombs, Elaine Roundy and the Carter Ormonds spent a day in Panguitch on business and for medical care. LaRena Hall and family went to Bountiful on the 14th for funeral services for. her sister Mrs. Beulah Garner who died of a heart ailment. Quite a number of towns-, people are having bad colds and flu. Several parents"attehde"d"a' FFA banquet and dance in Es- '- calante on the, 17th. Klea Griener spent a couple ' of days in the Panguitch hos- - j pital recently. Gary Wayne Haws and a friend spent the weekend at his parents, the Leland Haws. Vard Coombs, recently returned missionary, gave a report on his mission in the northwestern states in Sacrament meeting. Kay Gates, also a missionary, spoke too. Visitors at meeting were the Eph Coombs, .the Karl Spencerss, Dot Alvey and Beth Robinson of Escalante. A Fireside Chat was held on Sunday at the home of Ivan Lyman. Vard Coombs spoke. Refreshments were served. Everything is greening up considerably, some of the fruit trees are starting to bud. |
