Show THE WORD FROM BOULDER ALICE ALVEY A March of Dimes party was held Jan. 30th in the Elementary School, In place of tho Marching Mothers. All the children took part on the program which was given. Anne Spencer accompanied her husband Karl for a few days. Dorthy Lyman taught school while she was gone. Richard and Marilyn Griffin went to Kanab and Cedar City on business. They took her mother Mrs. Watson to Cedar where she took a bus to return to California. Tho Sunday School organization was re-arranged. Released were Veda Behunin, Kay Ormond and Sandra and Gladys Lyman; Dorthy Lyman, Nina Moosman and Em-eron Peterson were the new teachers who were sustained. Farlan Behunin was sustained as 2nd assistant to Lorin Moosman who is the Supt. of the Sunday School. Farlan, recently moved back to Boulder with his family from Murray where they had lived the last few months. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Moosman received word of a 7 lb. 11 oz. baby boy born to the? J. C. Moosmans on Jan. 30th. , (continued inside) BOULDER (Continued) in Wisconsin, they have one other son and two daughters. Fredric Raymond Jepsen celebrated his 12th birthday in January and on Feb. 3rd he was ordained a Deacon. Burnell Baker came from Salem for a short visit last week. Kent Osborn visited over the weekend at the home of Darrell Alvey. A surprise birthday party was held for Burns Ormond at the Thurman Spencer home in Escalante. Several couples from Escalante and Boulder attended. Burns helped sing 'Happy Birthday' until he realized the party was for him. Arthur Alvey is home after visiting relatives in Page and up north for several weeks. |
