Show Services For Mrs. Blanche Woodard - i Blanche tl. Woodard Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche H. Woodard were held in the North ward Feb. 1st. The prayer in the home was offered by Val Church. Prelude and postlude music, Irene McEwen and Cecile Orton; opening prayer, Clem Church; musical selection, "There Is Beauty All Around" choir; speake, Mary S. Hen-rle; violin solo "That Wonderful Mother, Of Mine", Barbara Orton ; speaker, Rudolph Church; musical selection, "Lay My Head Beneath The Rose", William Horton; Bishop's remarks, D. Kern Owens; musical selection "Some, time We'll Understand", choir; closing prayer, John M. Crofts. The grave was. dedicated- by Pres, H-,Frank Orton. Burial was In Pangultch Cemetery under, the direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Woodard, 65, died on Jan. 29 in Pangultch at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James (Sybil) Taylor, of a heart ailment. She was born July 20, 1897 in Panguitch to David L. and Kate DeLong Heywood. On July 26, 1916 she married Deward Woodard. She was an active member of the LDS Church; was a member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers and the Panguitch literary Club. Survivors: husband, Panguitch; sons, daughters: Mrs. John (Kathryn) Howa, Price; George Thomas, Murray; Mrs. Paul (Beith) Whitney, Moab; Mrs. Armond (Diane) Cadol, Paul, both of Page, Ariz.; Mrs. Warren (Gretha) Eyre, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Taylor; 34 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren ; brothers, sisters: Leland D., Cedar City; Mrs. Jean Betenson, Richfield; Mrs. Bessie Judd, Delta; Mrs. Mary Cherrington, Mrs. Rudolph (Kate) Church both of Panguitch; David, Salt Lake; Benjamin, Logan.. |
