Show Henrievillo I'v Virirlnl.1 .TolinMn Missed news item that Cloyd Neilson was home from Texas for the 4th with two friends, he is stationed in Texas. Lula Moore and Roxie Chynoweth left Tuesday for Provo where Roxie will visit her sister Ly-dia and Lula will go to Spring-ville to visit son Doyle and family. Dicy Shumway and family will spend the next two weeks here while her mother Minnie Smith goes on vacation with son Thayne and family from Calif. They left Wednesday and plan to visit Disneyland and the Dakotas. The Gouldings had a family get together at Smith Ranch, with 25 present. Lovlsa Johnson is home and feeling much better, David and Delpha Rose got her Friday. Clem Johnson of Provo spent sever-al days here with us. Teora Willis had her mother Harriett Newby of Monroe and sister Patricia Jones and family here visiting them. Marlon Willis is thrilled over a new adopted son of Monte and Velma's of Randolph, Marion left Tuesday to go sec it. Sheldon Clark of Calif, brought his folks of Cannon-ville to visit the Eugene Qull-ters. The Harry Partners had her parents, the James Hughes of Pangultch and brother Bob and Bill Holmes of St. George. Bob's boy is real sick in the hospital and he took Joyce to help them for a couple weeks. Keith Johnson came and got his wife Cora and daughter and Beth Partner went along and went to Provo where he had an eye operation and is doing fine. Neta Spencer and Clarice Griffin of Escalante visited at the Jim Smiths. The David Quilters received word that grandson Ross of O-rem gets around on crutches now after being severly burned on his left side with hot grease at work in a drive in. A place on his ankle will have to have surgery. He, and two friends, had a narrow escape when their car hit a light pole and knocked down wires, the car was red hot but they received minor injuries. Missed last week that Inez Smith of Salt Lake was visiting her folks, the Bart Smiths. While Virginia Smith was in Calif, she visited daughter Carolyn and family of Santa Barbara, her sister and husband, the Wm Reavills of Downey, a cousin Bart Smith and family of Pamona. Her daughter Marilyn Chrlstensen of La Puente has taken two small children in her home to care for until they can be placed with foster parents. Janet and Guy Evans and daughters of Pleasant Grove are moving to Henrieville. The Elvin Shumways and son of O-rem visited them overnight here. |
