Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY The Emeron Petersons and girls attended a William Peterson family reunion at Pine Lake over the weekend. Ncta and Heber Poulson visited in Richfield for two days with Ne-ta's sister Ila Jepsen. Moy Moosman and family from Mt. Pleasant were here for a few days to see relatives and do some fishing. Marrell Ormond from Security, Colo, was here for several days, Ruby and Jim Myers came over from Panguitch to see him, he's Ruby's son, and they spent a day or two camping on the Mt. They didn't have much luck fishing though. Sterling Alvey was in town with his son Bryan to visit and fish and his luck wasn't so good either. He went up north to see more folks, his dad Arthur went with him. Gayl's boy Douglas Is in Oakland, Calif, now and is getting along fine but will be in the hospital two or three more months. The Gary Dennings of Kearns who lived in Boulder a few years ago, were recent visitors. Gerry Shurtz and her boys and LaRae Roundy and her girls and the Pole Griffins and kids were here to see Clyde King. Gerry is staying for the summer to look out for him as he underwent eye surgery recently and can't see too well. Andrew Spencer, his wife, and Maud Reynolds and a lady friend were over from Escalante seeing the sights and visiting with Blom Ormand. The Uvon Roundys took part of their family to Kearns on business and to see friends. They brought a friend, Patty Munroe to visit for a while. The Itto Haws' went to Pan-guitch on business last week. The Cecil Grieners went out for the 4th and seen their girl Deanna Worthen and family who were there from Payson with Alan's folks. The Max Be-hunins and girl Tviila spent several days down at Lake Powell, their girl Maxine Sawyer and her family were there too. Kenneth Goulding and Alton Shakespear were speakers in Sacrament meeting, the Moore family, relatives of Micky Covington, sang two songs accom (continued inside) BOULDER (continued) panied by Mrs. Moore. We haven't had any storm yet, lots of clouds but too much wind, it's usually cleat as a bell and hot as Hades by after noon. Still lots of flies, bugs, etc., so some of the garden stuff isn't doing so good. |
