Show The Word From Boulder ' ALICE ALVEY Dorthy Lyman's folks came from Salt Lake for a visit. Bruce Alvey brought Darrell home and stayed a couple days to fish. Donna Jean Wilson and kids visited a few days here then took her mother Uvada Moosman back up north with her, Lorin and son Donald went up later, Donald had official business at Ft. Douglas. Ivan Lyman went to Richfield, the Burns Ormonds went to Orem to get Peggy. LaRena Hall attended funeral services in Blcknell for her uncle, Ernest Jackson last week. The Cecil Grleners went to Richfield on business. Jed Stringham of Palisade, Colo., a former Boulder resident, has been visiting in town for several days. The Vern Hansens had daughter Anna Lee and a friend, Adrian Grill, who are attending college at Logan here for the weekend. Elvon Poulson is back for the summer working for Mr. Brown. Carter Ormond is working for Boulder King Ranch. The ranch has visitors from A-rizona, Including the Joe Cov-Ingtons, and some from Calif. Jay C. Moosman came from Tempe, Ariz, for his two kids, brought Madge Moosman from Flagstaff, stayed for a few days, then took Madge's sister Rayola as far as Flagstaff to the Morrell Ivies for a month's visit. Jane Hansen's nephew and wife, Gerald Holden of Payson were recent visitors at her home. Neal Jepsen's brother Alfred and family from Calif, are visiting here and in Escalante for a month. We had our 4th celebration on the 2nd. The Rodeo committee, Primary, Relief Society and town sponsored a rodeo, sold cold drinks, pop corn balls, barbecued beef dinner and had a dance. The wind wasn't too bad, it's still dry and the temperature has reached 90 a few times. We had .48 of an inch of moisture last month and lots of thunder and lightning. (Last Week's News) Mr. Brown from Needles, Calif., who is buying Burns Or-mond's ranch, was in town to see him las week. Mr. Chase, had been working for him but has left the country. The Leland Haws' had their girl Beverly Rae Tucker and family at their home last week. Clyde King is back from Phoenix. Le-ona Lyman had her brother Albert Cleverly and his family for a few days visit from Idaho Falls. Arthur Alvey came home from Panguitch, stayed a day or two, then went to Bicknell with his son Wallace who came in to see him last Sunday. Vard Coombs and Donald Moosman are home on leave from Texas where they are stationed In the Air Force and Army respectively. The Heber Poulsons went up north tosee their kids and to bring Dorthy Jean's boy Bradley back with them, he flew to Salt Lake from Maryland where the family is living. Dorthy Jean's husband Sherril is still in the Air Force back there. Kim Haws spent the weekend in Kanab with the Dale Clarksons. Max Behunin and family visited in Torrey with his folks for a few d'ys last week. Vilate and Klea Griener visited in Cedar City with her mother, Mrs. Elida Taylor and brother Lloyd. Lenore LeFevre and Sharon Hafen spent a day in Panguitch seeing the dentist. LaRena Hall went over for medical care. The Burns Ormonds and Le-Fair Hall spent a day in Richfield on business recently. Cs-cil Griener and Doyl Moosman went to Hatch on GarKane business and Cecil went to Torrey too last week. The speakers in Sacrament meeting were Merle Coombs and Dorthy Lyman, Melanle Roundy played a piece on the piano. I see we have a bus line through Boulder now, tourists I guess.
