Show Race Meet, Homecoming Rodeo Top Planned Activities For July July is a busy month in Panguitch, hardly does the smoke of the 4th of July fireworks clear away than we have the annual Race meet sponsored by the Panguitch Lions Club. The big two day meeting will be held July 15 and 16, with post time set at 2:30 each day. There will be a full card of seven races each day, plus a .i classified kiddy pony race. jj Admission has been set at 3 $1.25 for adults, 50c for child- 1 rcn 6 to 12, and children und- 1 er 6 free. I July 24th Celebration The big holiday weekend ov- ; er the 24th of July will see the famous Young and Young Rodeo back in town. There will be two great performances of this traditionally western show on July 23 and 25 at 8 p.m., under lights at the race track. Schedule set by the committee is: July 23, 6 p.m. Rodeo Parade; 8 p.m. Rodeo; 10 p.m. Rodeo Dance at the Social Hall. On Sunday, the 24th, there will be the traditional patriotic program at the Social Hall at 2 p.m. Schedule for the 25th is: 10 a.m. small fry track meet; 12 noon, the big barbscue feast on the North ward lawn; 2:30 p.m. float-loaded parade; 4 p.m. little League baseball, all clini-xed at 8 p.m. with another stel-lar Rodeo show. |
