Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY Neal and Fay Jepsen, Lorin and Uvada Moosman went to Panguitch on business. Otto Haws went to Kanab on BLM business. Marilyn Griffin and Dora Wright went to Richfield Friday on business; Mac LeFe-vre and family were there on business Wednesday. Several parents attended the Senior play in Escalante on Thursday night. Leland and Golda Haws went to Panguitch Monday to sec the doctor, then on to Richfield to attend to some business. Truman Lyman was home for a few days from Wayns county where he is employed. The parents met with Mr, Barney, school supt., and Mrs. Henrie at the church last week to discuss some school problems. Vilate Griener's mother, Mrs. Elida Taylor, celebrated her 81st birthday last week. Vilate and Klea took her to Cedar Saturday to stay with a son and stopped in Panguitch to attend a golden wedding anniversary for Herbert Worthen and wife. They brought granddaughter Wendy Worthen home with them for a few day?. All of the college kids were home, except Elvon Poulson, for spring quarter vacation. Dell and Gladys LcFevre were here for a few days from Casper, Wyoming. The 17th of March party was held Friday evening, turkey dinner was served. A This Is Your Life (continued on toack page) BOULDER (continued) program was given, based on the life of Uvada Moosman, former Relief Society president, and husband Lorin. They were surprised by the arrival cf daughter Donna Jean Wilson and husband Bruce and kids of Salt Lake. Taking part on the program were Neta Poulson, Golda Haws, Renon Peterson, Alene Haws, Dorothy Lyman, and me; Twila Be-hunin and Klea Griener sang, accompanied by Jim Haws on the guitar; Jim, Haws and Le- Fair Hall sang a song, and Jim and Cecil Griener gave a musical selection on their guitar and harmonica. Dale Clarkson and Kay Coombs took up the. time in Sacrament meeting Sunday. The Laurel Girls sponsored a Fireside meeting at the church Sunday evening. Games were played and refreshments served. The weather stays unsettled, warm one day and cold the next. |
