The Reginald Stewarts made a trip to Provo Saturday to take Leona's mother Mrs. Winters home. A. successful dinner was served Saturday night by the YLM1A officers to the ward members, proceeds went toward the building project. Lloyd Ott has received his call to serve on an LDS mission in the west central states. The Gail Miles family and Larry Adair were visitors at the Arnold Adair home Saturday. The Clyde R, Bybees spent Sunday with the John Mech-am family. Jane Sudweeks and Verd-ella Nielson visited with the Derel Sudweeks family In Hatch one day last week. Kenneth LeFevre and family spent a few days last week with his mother Mrs. Amplus LeFevre. The Melvin Mecham family visited in Ordervillet Sunday with her relatives. The Vernal Shakespeare were in Cedar City Saturday visiting the dentist and their son Donald at CSU. Herbert Baugh and Connie Wilson were crowned king and queen at the Year Book carnival. Mrs. Sherman Baugh had her sister Maud and husband of Idaho as recent visitors. Babies christened in church Sunday were: Quinten, son of the Stanley Mechams; Michael, son of the Rex Palmers; Marian, daughter of the David Larvin Pollocks; Donna Sherrie, daughter of the Eld-on Brinkerhoffs; Kenneth Layne, son of the Layne Chy-noweths. Several of our Relief Society teachers attended the Stake preparation meeting in Escalante Sunday. Preston Shakespear andthe LaMar Shakespears attended the wedding reception for La Vonda Shakespear and Sherman Monticr in Bicknell on Saturday. Glenna Pollock spent Friday at Page, she returned home with her husband and other employees from the movies. Georgia Dutton is home visiting with her mother. Luella Mangum had her friend, tho former Mary Henderson, and family as visitors last week. Kerry Nelson spent the weekend in Ferron on business. Mrs. Nelson's mother is visiting with them this week. Vernal; E. R. and Alton Shakespear are home after working for the forest service in Wyo. for six weeks. Lynden Sudweeks and Norm Ott were home for the week end, they are working in Greenriver. Nell Wilson and daughter Connie visited in Fillmore Sunday with her father. |
