Show - Funeral Services For Joseph Ira Schow Funeral services for Joseph Ira Schow, 7J, were held in the Escalante North ward chapel on Nov. 1, with Bishop Vernon Spencer presiding. Family prayer, Wallace Roundy; prelude and post-lude music, Areola Gates; song "Invocation", Singing Mothers; invocation, William Mitchell; song "0 My Father", Usher Spencer, Layton Griffin, Hal Shurtz, Mr. Ash-more; speaker, Lorenzo Griffin; song, "Beyond The Sunset", Maurine Williams; speaker, President J. Clyde Spencer; remarks, Bishop Vernon Spencer; song, "Beyond The Hilltops", Singing Mothers; benediction, Doyle Cottam. Graveside prayer by Fer-rell G. Roundy. Burial was in the Escalante cemetery under direction of Ncal S. Mag-lcby Mortuary. Mr. Schow died Oct. 29 in the Panguitch hospital of natural causes. He was born March 6, 1891 in Escalante to James and Annie Hansen Schow. He married Lctha Porter Sept. 17, 1912 injunction, it was later solemnized Joseph Ira Schow in the Manti Temple. Mr. Schow was active In tho LDS Church. He was an employee of the Garfield County School District. Survivors: widow; sons, daughter: Wellings, Eureka; Glaine, Escondido, Calif; Joseph B., Page, Ariz; Mrs. Fcrrell (Freda) Moosman, Annabella; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Andrew, T., Mike, both of Escalante. |
