Show 4-H Clubs Report The Mcrrlmalds The Merrimaids 4-H club of Cannonvillc was started on June 20th with Mrs. Donna Mathews as leader. President Cherylo Twltchell, vice president Tonya Clark, scc-trcas. Patty Jo Thompson, song leader Charolette Henderson, re-porter Mickie Sue Thompson, also enrolled are Joy Mathews, Ramona Fletcher. We aro taking cooking and have enjoyed making different types of sandwiches and fru't drinks. This has been a success so far. We are looking forward to attending camp this summer. Micki Sue Thompson, reporter Stitch and Stir The Stitch and Stir club met July 5th in the court house. The meeting was call- ed to order by Joan Young, prayer by Glenna Lindsay, plcdgo by Linda Bardwell. Mrs. Hatch gaw a discussion on Grooming, and Beauty. Glenna brought refreshments. A new member to the club is Tina Marie Crofts who gave the closing prayer. Reporter Iris Oldham Five Star Cooks Our 4-H club the Five Star Cooks has held four meetings. Our officers are Barbara Shakespear president, Elaine Munson vice president, Amelia Mccham secretary, Maureen Pollock reporter. We are taking 2nd year cooking and are learning to prepare breakfast foods, do dishes cor-rectly, and how to do demonstrations. We're looking for ward to learning how to cook foods so we can give our parents a breakfast. We have learned to make toast, muffins, eggs, cereals, and milk drinks. Reporter Maureen Pollock |
