Show i I'ANGUITCH Shirley Chidestcr and two children of Logan are visiting with the Wallace Millers' and the Loris Chidesters for six weeks, while Ted Is driving a chartered bus of foreign people on a tour of Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona. The Panguitch Literary club ,will meet July 17 at 3 p.m. at the home of ilrs W, Earl Marshall. The Dewey Beckstroms spent the weekend at Salt jJake visiting Leland who is recuperating after a major operation at Holy Cross hospital. Bernard Beckstromand three couples of friends spent the weekend here and enjoy-ed the local fishing. Clare Cameron and Dave Cox of Las Vegas, Nev, spent the weekend fishing and visiting with the Rulon Princes at Panguitch Lake. The Robert Chamberlains of Order-ville also joined the Princes for an afternoon of fishing. Norma Llllic Wood, 18, of Salt Lake was named first runner-up in the Miss Utah contest held in June. Norma is a sister and sister-in-law to Bill and Bernlce Hcnrie Wood. Bill Bernice and children and Norma are stopping with the Bernard Henries for a week's fishing at Panguitch Lake before going to Imperial Beach, Calif, where Bill will teach school this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Reld S. Davis and family of Flagstaff, Ariz, and Mr. Bruce Bourne of Alliance, Ohio visited at the Joseph W. Davis home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Davis came from Cedar City to visit them Sunday. ; Colleen Proctor, daughter of the George Proctors, has completed a secretarial course at Henager College and is cm-ployed at Westminister College at Salt Lake. Mayheu Orton and son of Orem were overnight guests of the J. T. Talbots last week. Also a recent visitor at the Talbot homo was Mrs. Gorden Orton and three children of Salem. Hillman and Melda Haycock of Southgate, Calif, visited in town one day last week. Mrs. Grace McAllister and children Art and Lynda took JoAnne McAllister and children Kim and Steven to Salt Lake Monday where they caught a Jet back to New Jersey after spending two months here with Mrs. McAllister and JoAnne's folks, the Errol Dowdells. Wallace and Lucille Tebbs and children Mike and Vickie of Las Vegas spent four days with the Errol Dowdells and Mrs. Eva Tebbs; while they were here June Liston and family of Escalante came to see them at the Dowdells. The James Errol Goffs of Las Vegas spent the weekend at his grandparents, the Errol Dowdells and enjoyed the fishing at the lake. Mrs. Jane Carter of Los Angeles V sited her sister Mrs Lula Dickinson, they made a trip to Salt Lake the first part of the week, also visited at Joseph, Junction and Price. Also visiting Mrs. Dickinson were her brother, the Steve Bakers of Joseph, and her daughter, the Kenneth Stokers and baby of Henderson. |
