Show NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CURB & GUTTER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIV EN by the City Council of Panguitch City, Utah of the intention of such City Council to make the following described improvement, to-wit: PANGUITCH CITY CURB & GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, 1960. Construction of new concrete curb and gutter on both sides of Center Street from First East Street to Fourth East Street and both sides of Main Street from a point 227 feet north of the north side of First North Street to Panguitch Creek in Panguitch City, State of Utah. Existing curb & gutter on Main Street from Center Street one-and-one-half blocks north: and on Center Street from Main Street to First East Street will be replaced by the Utah State Road Commission. New concrete curb & gutter will be Wi inches deep and 30 inches wide except on the north side of Center Street where a deep-type irrigation curb and gutter 30 Inches wide and 10 inches deep will be constructed. The estimated cost for new curb and gutter to be paid by abutting property owners is $34,308.00, this being approximately $3.90 per front linear foot for all abutting property. The extra cost for constructing deep-type irrigation curb and gutter, where indicated, will be paid by West Panguitch Reservoir Irrigation Co. andor Panguitch City. Driveways over curbs on the north side of Center Street and through gutters elsewhere will be provided where designated by property owners and approved by Panguitch City Council. Requests for driveways are to be filed, in writing, at the Panguitch City Office on or before THURSDAY, the 161 h day of JUNE, A.D. 1960, giving the proposed location and width of said driveway. The additional cost of driveways over and above the cost of curb and gutter is to bo paid by the said property owners who request construction of the same, and is estimated to be approximately $1.75 per linear foot of such driveway. In the abovo described Improvement District existing sidewalk will be left in place, except where removal of such sidewalk is necessary to obtain proper alignment of the new curb or where new sidewalk is requested by the property owner. The elevation and alignment of the new curb will be established so near as reasonably possible to conform to grades required by highway resurfacing and to permit construction of new adjacent sidewalk at some future date. Where the property owner requests new sidewalk or replacement of old sidewalk, the cost of such new sidewalk will be assessed to the abutting property owner. The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owner for sidewalk four inches thick is approximately 55c per square foot. The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owner for sidewalk six inches thick at driveways is approximately 70c per square foot. New-sidewalk and sidewalk replacement will be provided where designated by the property owners and approved by Panguitch City Council. Panguitch City will pay the cost of new curb and gutter, waterways, clean-out boxes and other incidental work within the street intersections only. The estimated cost to be paid by Panguitch City within intersections and for other incidental work is $13,353.00 in addition to the regular assessment for curb and gutter, driveways and sidewalks adjacent to City owned property.
