Show PANGUITCH Guests at the homes of Mrs. Clara Ipson, Susa Walker and Ruby Myers were their brother Wm S. Gould, his daughter Amaryllis Wallace and four children of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Augusta Kllpa-trick and children Jerrie and Jimmy of Philadelphia, Pa. Also Mrs. Roe Whitenton and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dewey of Washington, Utah. Friday all visited Bryce Canyon, and in the evening enjoyed a picnic at Panguitch Lake, former summer home of the Gould family. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sevy and family of Upland, Calif; are visiting at the Frank Sevy and Mrs. Sadie Jlenrle homes. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Dennis and family of Cedar City visited Sunday with Mrs. Minerva Worthen. Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Hous-. ton of Sunset have been visiting at the Quince Houston home. Mr. and Mrs. Don Jensen of Kearns, Mr, and Mrs. C. Jensen of Axtell were visitors at the Floyd Worthen home. Mr. and Mrs. Jack McClar-ry and daughter of Hurricane were visitors In town with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Othello Riley .'and daughter of Beaver were In town Monday on business. Questions regarding the use of forest service land bordering Panguitch Lake will be discussed at a special meeting called for next Tuesday, August 18, at 8 p.m. at the Garfield County courthouse. Problems regarding the launching of boats on the lake will be discussed. This has nothing to do with the State boating regulations. Anyone Interested In the use of boats on the lake should attend this meeting. |
