Show PANGUITCH, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tebbs and family of Inglewood, Cal. arc visiting at the W. C. Tebbs home. A baby girl was born Aug. 25th at Salt Lake to Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Miller. Proud grandparents arc Mr. and Mrs France Miller, and the Ivo Ogdens of Delta. Kent Miller, who is working with the Forest Service in the Uintahs, spent the weekend with his parents, the France Millers. The Ray Englestead family of St. George were weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Ruth Ilenrie. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Moore and family of Elks Creek, Calif, have been visiting at tht Wallace Miller home. They brought Darrel here to attend school for his senior year. Also visiting the Millers for a couple of days were three children of the Frank Days, while their parents went up to Provo where Mr. Day received his master's de- grce from BYU. Mr. Day is Seminary Co-ordlnator at Cedar City. Beverly Church returned to St. George after a, two-week vacation with her parents Mr and Mrs. Champ Church. Earl Church, who is working and attending college at St. George spent Tuesday and Wednesday here with his parents, and fished at the Lake. Just heard that Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reynolds (Effie Marie Miller) of Kanab had a new baby boy born on Aug. 9th; this is their seconii child, and first son. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby of Mt. PJeasant spent a couple of days at the Earl Allen an John Crosby homes. Also Naomi Bliss of Salt Lake and Nima Crosby of Spanish Fork came down Saturday for the Bunker reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Art Houston and family of Ogden were weekend visitors at the homes of Mrs. Velta Miller and the Quince Houstons. The Rulon Sargents of Provo and Sarah Hatch and children of Salt Lake were visitors in town. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wil-cock and family of St. George visited from Wednesday to Sunday with Mrs. Annie Wil-cock. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Church were weekend visitors t Delta at the Thomas Judd home. Val Church is attending a coach's school at the U of U. Mary Lou and children will move up to Murray soon, where Val is coach at MHS. Sadie Rogers was here for the dedication of the elementary school; she is now teaching at the BYU. Mr. and Mrs. George Mid-dleton and family are at Salt Lake, where Mrs. liddleton is receiving medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Peterson and XM year old son are living in the Val Church home; Mr. Peterson, the new Seminary teacher, is a recent graduate from Logan, and a native of Montpclier, Idaho, Mrs. Peterson comes from Mahti. Mrs. Ellen Pope,, and children were Saturday visitors in Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Marshall attended a district druggists convention at Fish Lake this past weekend. A trousseau tea ,is being held this Saturday by Mrs. Margaret Haycock for her daughter Elizabeth. Mrs. Hazel Cameron, Mrs. Gwen Orton, and children, and Berthann Riggs spent Monday in Richfield. Visiting at the Ernest Owens home overnight last Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Arden Johnson (Elma) and three children of Kanab. , Joe Wilcock, who spent 27 months with the army in Germany arrived home last week. Gordon Ross, who served with him, is staying with the Jay Proctors before going on to Salt Lake for employment. Grant and Avonel Tebbs are on their way home now from Germany. Charles A. Hepworth Jr. was scheduled to return to San Diego on Aug. 25th aboard the destroyer USS Orleck after completing a six month tour of duty in the Far East. Howard Cramer of Bryce Air Port is in the hospital receiving medical care. |
