Show HATCH REVA LOWDEK Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wilson spent part of last Week in Provo where they attended the graduation of their son-inlay, Mel Wilks; they helped the Wilks move to Bicknell, Where Mel will bo coach'. Mrs Wilkes (Helen) returned with her parents to visit awhile. Weekend visitors at the Wilsons' were the Ferrel Lazen-bys of rCedar City. Brother Bagley, Church Building Supervisor, is here about the renovation of our Ward hall. Work started last Friday. Morley Wilson is home on leave from the National Guard at Fort Ord, Calif. Visitors at the Sam Evans hbme were Mrs. MOses Gif-ford, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Gif-ford of Springdale. Kay Turek of Albuquerque is visiting the E. F. Tureks; Jack Turek of Cedar visited them last week. Sunday the Tureks went to Grand Canyon to get Wynn. Recently Austin Barnhurst j and his flying instructor flew in from Las Vegas, landed at the Sawyer air strip, and took his mother Mrs. O. H. Barn- hurst for her first air flight. i Several people made a trip 1 to Cedar during the week. h Mr. and Mrs. Ken Bunker j and son of Nevada, enroute home from New York, visited -i the Kilburn Wilsons. Jolayne j and Carol returned with them j for a week's visit. ' L.L. Porter celebrated his 79th birthday Sunday. Ed and Alyce Mu'rrdy and two daughters of Calif, were Sunday visitors at the Gale Wilcock home. Wednesday, Noreen Evans went to Orderville to bring back her mother Mrs' Sessie Clark who had hurt her foot. Gwen Crofts took Mrs. Clark back to Orderville Sunday. Mr( and Mrs. D. H. Evans left Thursday for Salt Lake where they met Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Swapp, they will spend a week at Yellowstone Park. The Workman reunion was held at Duck Creek Saturday. Visitors in town Sunday were Launa Esplin, Orderville';' Dee Workman, Clarence Spencer, Glendale; Gary Gif-ford Springdale; Dan Tebbs arid Harbld "Lindsay of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Difenbaugh ot San Diego are here visiting at the Dick Harrison home ; their son Benny has spent the summer here and he will return home with them. |
