Fife of Ogden, parents of W. J. Fife, came up from Ogden Sunday and spent Monday in this city. Thoy loft Tuesday to visit relatives rela-tives in northern Utah and southern Idaho. Mrs. W. J. Fife and children loft Thursday for Rigby, Idaho, to attend a family reunion of tho Homor family which was. hold in that placo yesterday. Grandma Homer is still living and is 98 years of ago. Manager J. T. Lant and Catcher H. Fowler of tho Garland Gar-land Baseball nine, spent last Sunday in Ogdon watching a line game of ball between Ogdon and Murrary. Tho score was 0 to 1 in favor of Murrary. Mrs. C. W. Richards, Jr., accompanied ac-companied by her sister, Mrs. Maggio Cox, camo up from Orangoville, Emery Co., Sunday Sun-day evening. Mrs. Avn Sasser camo. back Wednesday afternoon f r o m Stode, Idaho, where sho spent a fow days with horson, Luther Sasser and wifo. Sho owns a homestead in that locality and was much pleased with the trip. It is very dry out thero, but somo of tho farmers are going to make good. Gou. Supt. E. C. Manson, Auditor C. J. McNitt and a number of division oflicers of the 0. S. L. R. R. Co., passed through Garland Monday morning morn-ing in a special car onroute to Malad. They returned to Brig-ham Brig-ham at 11 a. m. and from thoro went over the main lino to Preston, Idaho. |
