It was an wen hnrd ought battle, run for run, registered 6y the scorer up till the se'venth Innings, when Fielding punched a few safo ones and let iu tbrco men in quick succession. That was all, tho game was over and the score card told tho tnlo ofOto Owith Fielding to tho good. Then when tho yelling ceased and hats came down, soda water was in order, the Fielding boys wcro voted "good fellows" and wo separated with "seo you next Saturday." These same teams will cross bats hero next Saturday on our home diamond in a return game and our boys think that tho pangs of defeat, de-feat, which they suffered last Saturday, will make the joys of victory moro complete. com-plete.
