I Tho storm came from tho south- I west; passed over tho business part I of tho town without damage, first I striking two blocks cast of Main I street Hero tho homo of Fred Tan- I nor and tho parsonage of the Congre- I Rational church woro demolished. Tho- I Quaker church was blown down, the I "debris falling upon tho homo of Mrs. I fella Granger, which was also do- I stroyed. Mrs. Granger was injured, I but not seriously. I Mrs. Ed Glelsburg saw tho storm com 1 11? and ran Into tho yard to rc3- cue her child, which wns playing I there. Beforo sho reached him she I 'was picked up and hurled against a I telephono polo across tho street. Sho I was seriously Injured In tha back. Tho 1 child was unhurt. Tho storm then lifted, but struck ngaln In tho northeast part ot the I town, demolishing soveral houses and I damaging others. I Four miles west of Stafford another I tornado blow down sovoral farm build- I ines and seriously Injured R. F. Sll- I vers, who saw tho storm coming and sought shelter In a granary filled with I wheat. This storm passed two miles east ot Hudson, whero other small I damago Is reported. Tho Bun shono brightly whllo theso storms wcro working their havoc. Another tornado Is reported at Bushton, thirty miles north of Staf- ford. Soveral residences and other buildings wcro blown down.
