In tho superior court John Boylan, local agent for the Standnrd Oil company, was convicted of soiling oil of an inferior and dangerous dan-gerous quality nnd was sentenced to forty dnys In Jail and lined $25 and costs. Tho case against tho oil agont grew out of two civil suits brought against tho company by Theodoro White as tho result of an explosion of a lamp at his house In January. Tho explosion caused Injuries to his daughter daugh-ter which later resulted In her death nnd Mr. Whlto himself was badly burned.
