It is announced that all the arrangements for constructing construct-ing the road to Deep Creek have been completed. It is also said that the bulk of the money will be furnished by English capitalists. The company has been incorporated with $5,000,000 capital. capi-tal. The incorporators are J. II. Bacon, II. M. Bacon, F. L. IIolland,M. J.Gray, Judge Col born, Witclier Jones, Judge Powers and Mr. Hose. The company com-pany will build 202 miles of road, extending to the Nevada line, with a diversion of fifty miles in the American desert t Fish. Springs and Dugway. One of the directors di-rectors to-night denied the truth of the report in the Times that work will be commenced to-day. He said it would be thirty days before it could be defi nitely decided when work will be commenced, com-menced, but when started it will be carried through without delay. The Attack Alarmed the Family. New York, July 1. A. Bar Harbor special says last evening a messenger from the Blaine household called for the village physician and together they hastened to the residence of Mr. Blaine. Minneapolis, July 1. The State conference of Democrats met here today, to-day, with 150 politicians in attendance. The object is to organize the club movnient in this State, and discuss campaign plans. Business Failures for .Six Months. New York, July 1. Business failures fail-ures for the first six months of the present year are reported by K. G. Dun & Co. to the number of 6,074, against 5,o85 during the same period in 1890. And Still a Decrease of Cash. Washington, July 1. The treasury statement shows a decrease of cash balance bal-ance in the treasury during the month of June of $4,992,802. Phelps Gets Four Years. Blackfoot, July 1. Judge Stand-roid Stand-roid adjourned the District Court at this place this evening until July 7th, when the famous cattle stealing cases will be taken up. Phelps, recently convicted of manslaughter, was sentenced sen-tenced for four years in the penitentiary, peniten-tiary, a rnotion for a new trial being overruled, Peace Again Assur&d Hamburg, July 1.
