Show DON'T WORRY, BEAR TRIB. The Tribune is trying to make out that Dr. Miller's endorsement of the political move in Utah will have very j little weight with the peopleo.f !:Y -i -nr ' .. n n "ifljJlAjijL "ill his words may have considerable "rToTuT ence outside of Utah where he is known as a staunch Democrat. The Trih. need not worry over the influence of Dr. Miller in Utah. He has always been a staunch friend of the people, and has had the manhood to defend them in what he conceived to to be their rights under the Constitution, Constitu-tion, and advise ! the very move which has n jw been taken: and which, by the way, we think the Tribune has demanded de-manded very persistently for years. Now, if Dr. Miller had come here and sided in with the Mormon-eating element, no doubt the T,i. would have lauded him with its fulsome i praise for patriotism and statesmanship; statesman-ship; but now iie is simply a hired attorney at-torney for the Mormon Church, who probably takes his pay in the hope of reward for good deeds in the hereafter, here-after, a feeling which no doubt is very foreign to the Trib. |
