Davis Emery Town celebrates youth with the 2nd annual Un-Pageant Kathy Ockey Emery Town held their second annual “Un-pageant Pageant” on July 16 for a large crowd of friends and families. This unusual pageant doesn’t have winners or losers, just participants. It is an excellent opportunity for the youngsters in Emery to practice and perform their talents before an audience. There were 16 participants performing their individual talents, and the evening concluded with a closing number by the whole group. Each of the participants did very well and the crowd enjoyed the evening of seeing their younger population show their various talents. The program consisted of songs, skits, a reading, cheers, poem, dance and even a hula hoop routine. Director for the event was Tina Hunsaker and others involved in presenting this program were: Amy Sundstrom, Tea; Corrine Dalton and Alisha Roberts, Sound; Marian Mangum and Lisa Mangum, Back Stage.
