An open house will be held Saturday, Sept. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at the Gillies residence, 1229 South 1100 East, Spanish Fork. Maria graduated from Box Elder High and LDS Seminary in 2005. She was •"?•: a volunteer at an orphanage in Kenya, Africa summer 2007. She's currently a CNA at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and is attending UVU. McKell will celebrate his 90th birthday on Sept. 17. On Saturday, Sept. 13, family members will meet together at the Chillon Reception Center in Spanish Fork to honor him and his life. The Chillon Reception Center is the building (previously used as the LDS 5th ward) where Mark attended services as a youth. The building was constructed during the Depression while Mark's father, Arthur J. McKell, served for 14 years as ward bishop. Family members in- clude three children: Marilyn (Paul) Moore of Draper, Kent (Barbara) of Ferron, and Allen (Wendy) of Newhall, Calif. All 12 grandchildren and their families will attend the celebration , with the exception of Joshua McKell, who recently left for an LDS mission in England. Other grandchildren include: Natalie Peterson, Melanie Powell, Melissa Winters, Mark M McKell, Michael McKell, Ashley Christiansen, Brian McKell, Bryce McNeil, Tyler McKell, and Chad McKell. Also attending will be Mark's 17 True Story: Rocky's was authorized up to $960.00 to fix a van. It turns out that the van didn't need that much work. It was fixed for $350.00. Happy customer? They enjoyed a wonderful marriage, and it has been a difficult year for Mark and his family. They miss her very much. Mark enjoys remarkable health. He has been retired from the Postal Service for 27 years. He spends time, with his children and grandchildren, works on his farm, and plays his Lowry organ ing optimistic ancj being frequently.
