Saturday night's Creative Arts Emmys were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and honored television's behind-the-scenes crew in 72 categories. To round out a full weekend of recognition for films shot in Utah, a special presentation of the. classic John Ford, John Wayne western film THE SEARCHERS was screened Friday evening at Gouldings Lodge in Monument Valley as part of the Netflix Rolling Roadshow to commemorate the 50lh anniversary of the film's release. A special three-hour tour of the film's shooting locations was given before the screening began. Among the guest list were John Wayne's daughter, Marisa Wayne, and singer/songwriter, Lisa Loeb. Utah Film Commission director, Aaron Syrett, who also attended the screening in Monument Valley said, "The Searchers is easily considered one of the best films ever made.
