Well last week I made a couple of good ones, but I did not get the number of calls I expected. Perhaps because they were not too glaring. One was only off by a year and the other was only off one generation. I apologize to Lion President Greg Payne for taking his office away from him and to Phil Norton for giving him Greg's position. Greg is our presdident until next July where Phil is now our 1 st Vice President and will become President next July. Error number 2: Lavenda's son was Steven Moore but not the Steven Moore who married Jill-yn Stewart and who presented us with our 10th great grandchild and who is Deanna Moore's son, and Lavenda's grandson. Now that I have corrected these errors, I am going to let our readers decide why they ocurred.(a)I finished typing the article and sent it at 3 AM; (b)Because of my accident injury; (c)Senior moments which I ocasionally have; (d)Lingering effects of an injury I had as a youth when I was thrown from a car and scattered a pocket full of marbles all over the road in Marysvale, (My dad said all I was worried about was finding my marbles and my brotherin-law, Monte Marshall has often asked me if I was sure that I found all of them.) Coach Bob Knight and his wife, Karen, were recent visitors at the Ted and Shirley Chidester home. Bob coaches at Texas Tech in Lubbock. They returned to Lubbock yesterday (Saturday 29th) and took Ted with them. Ted will again serve as Academic Advisor to the Basketball team for the coming season. I now know why I did not see Ted last Winter and we might want to keep an eye "glued to the tube" when Texas Tech is playing just to see how well they do with the help of a former coach from Panguitch. Ken and Judi Roe have been visit* ing here for the past few days. Ken said they are making a last sweep through Southern Utah and Nevada to visit children and relatives before they leave on their 18 month Mission to Washington DC on the 11th of September. Ken and |
