Show life B2 MONDAY'AUGUST 29-2005 A quick preview of fall's upcoming movies Luke Hickman Movie Editor Corpse Bride - September - Returning to the stop-motion used for "The Nightmare Before Christmas," Tim Burton has created this tale of a man who runs away from a marriage to end up married to a corpse. Voices by Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. the trailer online. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - November - Possibly the most anticipated film of the fall, Harry and Co. return to the big screen with the fourth installment which has been given the PG-13 rating. making it a little more interesting and hopeful. Hey - it helped with Star Wars! Jarhead - November - Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx appear in this drama based on the story of a third-generation marine's experience through the events that took place in Iraq in the early 90s. Coming from the director of "American Beauty" there is some buzz following "Jarhead." The Ringer - December - Due to the nature of this film, it has been sitting on the shelves for a while. Johnny Knoxville stars in this politically incorrect film about a pathetic man who tries to rig the Special Olympics in order to make a little money. King Kong - December - Peter Jackson just can't stay away from huge epic films. Fun With Dick and Jane - December - Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni star in this Cohen Brother's written comedy about a couple who become robbers to pay their bills and add a little spice to their relationship. Just. Like Heaven - September - Reese Witherspoon, Mark Ruffalo, and Napoleon Dynamite star in this romantic comedy about a girl who dies in a wreck and doesn't accept her death. For some reason Ruffalo is the only guy who can see and communicate with her ghost. They fall in love. It's "Ghost" with a comedic twist. Elizabethtown - October - One of my favorite directors returns with his new story about a young man (Orlando Bloom) who goes on a journey to recover his father's body after passing away while on a business trip. On his adventure he, of course, meets a girl (Kirsten Dunst). With a "Garden State-esque" feel to it, how can you go wrong? V for Vendetta - November - The brilliant minds behind 'The Matrix" bring us "V," the story following Evey (Natalie Portman) in a Communist ruled country where power is stripped for the people. There is nothing else I can say about "V." It looks amazing. Check out Don't have a UTA Ed Pass yet?
