With an eye to beauty and efficient customer sendee, the management of Ken Garff s and Paul Lemoine, architect, set out to build the ultimate Oldsmobile and, obviously, dealership theyve met with success. New areas for the dealership sales and include the new-ca- r showroom building, the used' car sales office, the display e pods, the service complex, and extensive blacktopping, lighting, and other modernization features. Total investment for the expansion program comes to around million, bringing the overall value of the Garff facility to $3 million. The dealership now occupies about seven acres, covering nearly an entire city block, with full frontage on 5 di South between State Street and 2nd East. Additional frontage on 2nd East and State Street give easy access .from all directions. ultra-moder- Outstanding feature of the new grounds, to the eye of the showvisitor, is the new-ca- r room and the surrounding Oldsmobiles sales pods. Under Glass is the designation given by Gene Bryson, general sales manager, to the elevated y showroom. Fully carpeted and enclosed on all sides by tinted glass panels, the room makes an unequalled showcase for the proud, shining Oldsmobiles arrayed Inside. Sales offices for the new-ca- r showroom are found downstairs, discreetly separated from, the show area. Again, beauty and comfort are accentuated, and each customer can relax in a . private sales office. .. Parking is handled in a thoroughly convenient and modern fashion. Sales and Service Boulevards are located on the property so that visitors can simply drive through and park next to any vehicle that interests them.
