An Indian girl from North Carolina. An art student in Salt Lake City. from An immigrant Brazil. A divorcee with four young sons. What do these women from such different walks of life have in common? They have a desire to be- come to gamer new ideas, to communicate with people. And most important, they have a willingness to commit themselves totally to their family, profession and community. They are exemplary of thousands of other women around the country who are getting a chance to better, themselves through programs sponsored by the American Business Womens Associa- tion. This year alone, $264,000 is being spent on scholarships, grants, loans, and special education projects.
