| Show JUST AN advertisement in last weeks issue 0 of the saturday evening post the eastman kodak people have a page ad which contains I 1 just eighteen words beside the signature four short leies appear at the top of the page then comes about three fourths of a page of white space and two full lines at the bottom complete the message for that page the must have paid a price running into four figures over a thousand dollars tor for eighteen words and yet it must pay or the eastman people would not do it it is interesting to ro note how different people view advertising there are some people and businessmen at that who contend that advertising is a contribution to the newspaper the eastman kodak co is either exceptionally tio nally philanthropic or else mighty good business people we are inclined to rate them as the latter |
