Show flMES October 26, 2006 Town Hall Continued from 1 he said. The panel of 75th Air Base Wing subject matter experts will include: Colonel Chambers and his wife Suzan; Col. Linda Medler. 75th Air Base Wing vice commander; Col. Michael Trapp, 75th Mission Support Group commander; Col. Harry Briesmaster, 75th Civil Engineer Group commander; Col. Matthew Chini, 75th Medical Group commander; and Chief Master Sgt. William Gurney, Ogden Air Logistics Center and 75th Air Base Wing command chief, and his wife Trade. This particular type of forum is great for spouses because it gathers so many key base representatives together in one convenient location, Mrs. Chambers said. "Spouse participation is absolutely essential to the success of this Town Hall meeting," she said. "As spouses, we raise important issues, questions and concerns, and this is our opportunity to take a proactive stance and transform worries into tangible solutions." In addition to the primary panel, knowledgeable liaisons from the family support center, Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Air Force Aid Society, the chapel, family advocacy, education office, legal office, sexual assault response coordinator, Tricare, civilian personnel, base housing, child development center and youth center will also be on hand, intermingled with the audience, to provide additional answers as necessary. Free child care will be available on site at the club for the duration of the meeting. "We're trying to make this forum as convenient as possible for everyone who wants to attend," said Chief Gurney. "As panel members, our overall effectiveness depends on robust participation from the audience, and we're hoping for a large crowd." Two alternate participation venues exist for individuals who cannot make the meeting due to scheduling conflicts. A phone line, 777-1234, will be available for call-ins during the meeting, and questions may be sent in advance, to 75ABW.CCA® hill.af.mil, using "Town Hall" as the subject line. Audience members will have top priority during the meeting, said Chief Gurney. Phone calls and cmails that are not addressed during the evening will be answered as quickly as possible in the days following the meeting. "Improving our quality of life, addressing important issues, making positive changes and taking care of one another all require personal involvement," said Col. Chambers. "Please take the initiative to join us for this meeting and help us make our great Team Hill community even better." For more information, call Pat Cerone at 777-4681.
