All children from infancy through five years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to attend for stories and learning activities. The Ogden Valley Branch Library will sponsor an “after school program” every Wednesday immediately following school at 3:45 p.m, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 5. All ages are invited! September 20: President of the Utah Association of American Mothers, JoAnn Hamilton, will speak at Snowcrest Jr. High on September 20 at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Hamilton will be speaking on how to protect our children and families from the flood of pornography. September 20: The Ogden Symphony Ballet Association presents a Masterworks Concert at Weber State’s Val A. Browning Center at 7:30 p.m. The concert will showcase one of America’s premier instrumental ensembles, The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Ticket prices are $16.00 to $24.00, and may be purchased at the OSBA ticket office at 638 E 26th St., or by calling 399-9214, or one hour prior the performance at the Browning Center. Registration is at 8:00 a.m., and race begins at 9:30 a.m. A barbecue with live music will be from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Pre-registration is $30; day of registration, $35. Fee includes meal. September 22: Annual Cycle for Life fundraiser bike ride. Registration Eden Park, 7:30 a.m. Ride begins at 8:00 a.m. Eight, 30, 66, and 100 mile rides offered. Proceeds help cycling victims.
