Each student was given a key to try in a lock on a metal box. The one with the key that turned the lock won the car. Catherine was in the third group of students to try the lock, and, to her surprise, it turned! A siren blared and a cannon shot up confetti. She won a white, 2007 PT Cruiser, the newest car Ken Garff Honda had given away. Although everyone around her was excited, Catherine remained calm. When she came home to tell us, she just headed back to her bedroom, then turned back and said, “I really need those driving lessons now!” Her priorities this summer will be learning to drive and getting a job to pay for gas. ities! the under-classmen that remain will continue to battle and carry on the tradition of Lady Skyhawk Basketball!
