Kieth Binford Our precious angel baby, Berklee Taylor Johansen, returned home to her Father in Heaven on __ F233 +? a Sunday morning, Berklee Johansen July 11, 2004. In the short time she spent with us, she taught us of faith, courage, patience, and especially of love. A year that will never be forgotten and will always have a special place in the most tender parts of our hearts. She taught of life’s simple joys with her smile. We look forward to being an eternal family. We Love You Berklee! Berklee was born July 6, 2003, the daughter of Colten S. and Kathy L. Johansen, of Huntsville. She is survived by her parents, big brother Tyson, and three beautiful sisters, Brecklyn, Carlee, and Brinlee; her grandparents, James and Norma Lund, Bountiful; Ronald and Kathy Johansen, Centerville; great-grandmother, Shirley Layton, Huntsville; and many adoring aunts, uncles and cousins. Berklee was preceded in death by her cousins, Adam and Aaron Powell; Uncle Todd Powell; and Great-grandpa Jesse Layton Funeral services were held Thursday, July 15 at the Huntsville Ward Chapel, 300 South 7400 East. Taylor, 63, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the University of Utah Medical Center of ae failure. e was born November 8, 1940 in Huntsville. a son of Alfred A. and Ruth Berlin Taylor. Keith married Phyllis Nelson in 1960. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple a year later. He was a lifelong resident of the greater Ogden area, growing up in the Eden area. He graduated from Weber High School with the Class of 1959. He attended Weber State University and graduated with a Machinists Technician Certificate. ith was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Elders oan a Bishopric, and Sunday School Pre: He was employed with the Ogden City Police Department for over 30 years, retiring in 1996, obtaining the rank o Keith will be remembered for his ability of identifying impaired drivers, thus earning him the nickname the “DUI King,” and in doing so, probably saved many lives. ith was a member and president of the Ogden Police Benefit Association. He enjoyed hunting and reminiscing with his friends and fellow officers. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping, and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis, of Roy; three sons and two daughters, Kenneth “Moose” (Mitzi) Taylor, Roy; Mike Tafoya, South Ogden; Shawn Houston, Kearns; Tammy (Robert) Wallace, Riverdale; Debbie (Nelson) Woodbury, Huntsville; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She married Bob Grabar, he preceded her in death. She married Dr. Louis Peery, and ey divorced. was a member of the LDS Church and eae serving in Young Womens and Relief Society. Fern volunteered for many years at McKayDee Hospital as a Pink Lady. She was an avid snow skier and loved working in her garden. Fern is survived by her children, K. Gary (Jan T.) Hyde, Ogden; eight grandehildten, Danielle (Ethan) Vaughn, Ogden; Joey, Julie, Bryan, Curtis, Dakota, Melissa, and River; two greatgrandchildren, Kate and Solomon; and her brother, Dean R.
