Show Volume X THE Issue VIII OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Page 3 August 1, 2004 ABC TV 4 “Good Things Utah” Show Aired Live From Lakeside Village On Friday, July 9, Lakeside Village was the set for the live ABC TV 4 television show, “Good Things Utah.” The one hour Hen Feathers Gifts at Trappers Village. Two of the show hosts, Nicea DeGering and Angie Larsen, stayed at Lakeside the Good ’ Things Utah hosts Nicea DeGering, Reagan Leadbetter, and Angie Larsen. Shades of Gray show was filmed at Lakeside with the spectacular backdrop of Pineview Reservoir. The public was invited to watch the show as it was aired live beginning at 10:00 a.m. Good Things Utah is hosted by ABC 4’s Nicea DeGering, Reagan Leadbetter, and Angie Larsen. This episode of the show also featured taped segments about Snowbasin, a cooking segment at Yukon Grille, musical entertainment by Ogden Valley local band Shades of Gray, and a oral segment featuring night before the show, and commented on the beauty and abundance of recreational opportunities in Ogden Valley. A ground breaking of Lakeside’s lakefront units took place immediately following the show with members of the community and the Ogden Weber Chamber Spikers in attendance at the event. In 1990, during a postal reorganization, Darlene’s job was abolished, and she competed with other postal applicants vying for the Postmaster position for the Huntsville Post Office. The position was left vacant when Postmaster Opal Probasco retired in 1989. Darlene was appointed Postmaster in April of 1990, filling the vacancy. Darlene was instrumental in relocation and setup of the new Huntsville Post Office, which was built in November of 2001. Darlene has been responsible for hiring and training for the office, and for ensuring that customers receive the best service possible.
