Gloria Crandall. is now a part of everyones enjoyable memories, especially Tito Arnold of Salt Lake who took home $550.00 and a beautiful First place trophy for his 20" trout. Congratulations Tito! Due to the generous sponsorship of local merchants, we were able to give away S50.00 hourly for each day. The lucky 22 fishermen were: Julie Morby 16 W. R. Moosman 16 , Burk Kite 17V, Burk Kite 17, Max Searle 17 Lee James, John Kester, Burk Kite and Scott Rendel tied at 17, Cet Moore I7V4", Brad Ricks 17V, Ron McFarland and Barry Larson tied at 17, Paul Johnson 15V, Laura Hambrick 17V, Branda Atkinson 17, Tito Arnold 20, Kevin Bradford Jack Kite Jody 17, Jim Richins Bradbury 17V", Kelly Davis Ron Arnold 16V, Kathy 78. 18, 16", 16, 16, 17V, Haws Roger Elquist 16". 16y4" and Rick Hitt . The big prize money went to Tito Arnold winning $500.00 for his 20" trout. We had so many 17V" fish that the Daily Big Fish prize and 2nd Daily Big Fish prizes had to be divided between three fishermen for Saturday: Burk Kite, Brad Ricks and Laura Hambrick each getting $133.33. On Sunday there was again a tie which resulted in Jody Bradbury and Kathy Haws getting $200.00 each. We were forced to draw names in order to give away and 2nd and 3rd place trophies. The lucky 2nd place trophy winner was Laura Hambrick and 3rd place trophy went to Kathy Haws. Our apologies to the three of you who didn't receive a it was trophy for your efforts the luck of the draw. IT il Debbie Comer won a large carp and Travis Bowen was the lucky winner of a hot air balloon ride for two courtesy of Balloon Affaire of Park City. Congratulations to all the lucky winners! Special thanks to all of the balloon pilots who made this event a most beautiful sight and gave a thrill to many locals by "Flamingo" for her 24 giving them their first ride. Words can't describe what a beautiful sight it was to see seven balloons skimming over Echo and coloring the sky. Let's hope that we can repeat this spectacular event. Rose Wallace did an excellent job organizing the chuck wagon diner which was well attended (far too well). Four hundred one early birds ate that delicious beef prepared by Don Nelson and Golden Flint of Brigham City. Approx. 150 people were turned away because we ran out of beef. the dinner is What can we say just too good!! A special thanks to Rose and the many people who helped out with this very difficult job. The local group Sage" kept and we everyone hope to have them back. Thanks you were enjoyed by all. It is our hope that the 4th annual Fishing Derby can match this weekend. We had a guest from Japan and another few from London. Could it be that Coalville could get to be known internationally? We would like to acknowledge each and every person, be it prize money sponsor, door prize donations, digging rocks, serving dinner, judging, cooking, runnames ning around, whatever are just too numerous to mention.
