Seminary graduation exercises for the Kamas LDS Seminary were held May 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kamas Utah Slake Center. Welcome remarks were given by Danny Jepsen after which the congregation sang "Firm as the Mountains Around us." Troy Clawson gave the invocation. Jill Fitzgerald, Tim Wright and Van Park were the student speakers. They were followed by a musical number, Cheryl Woolstenhulme and Becky Littleford. Dale Fuelling, the Principal of the Kamas Seminary addressed the group. He was followed by President Thomas E. Brown. After the presentation of graduates and the presentation of certificates President Thomas E. Brown awarded the diplomas. The congregation sang "We are Sowing", and the closing prayer was given by Gordon Taylor. Cheryl Woolstenhulme played prelude and postludc music. The following are four year graduates of Seminarv: 1 V On Sale Now! V South Summit Rodeo News Bear River Rodeo Club was held May 1 . 2 and 3 in Tremonton. Neal Gines placed first and Kenny Jones placed third in steer wrestling. North Summit Rodeo was May 9 and 10 in Coalville. Bret Atkinson placed 3rd in bull riding. Craig Rockhill placed 2nd in steer wrestling. The Lehi Longhorn Rodeo was also May 9 and 10 in Lehi. Craig Rockhill placed 2nd in steer wrestling. Last weekend our club went to several rodeos. Alette Brown placed second ait. in the queen contest at Cow Country in Manila. South Utah Country was in Spanish Fork. Craig Rockhill llaeed second and Neal Gines hird in steer wrestling. Were all looking forward to our rodeo this weekend at Oakley. Performances will be held at 7:00 MWK! . JSUJU , |
