The Duchesne County School District will soon hold the annual screening, and information gathering, meetings for next years kindergarten students. State law requires a child to be 6 years of age on or before September 1 in order to attend kindergarten. The child must also live with hisher parent or legal guardian within the designated neighborhood school attendance area to be eligible for attendance. However, this year Duchesne High will cut prom costs by more than half, spending $1,200. Duchesne's prom will be held at the Gateway SeniorCenter. The junior class will spend $750 on decorations.
