He loved people and enjoyed serving. An active member of the LDS Church he served a stake mission and as High Priest group leader. He is survived by his wife, sons and Roberta, Roosevelt; daughters, Bill Jones, Salt Lake; Bob Jones, Layton; Dave Jones; Las Vegas; Mrs. Cal (Barbara) Richens, Vernal; Mrs. Denny (Fran) Stultz, Salt Lake; Mrs. John (Lucy) Thorpe, Layton; 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Saxon Batchelor, Hooper, and Dale Pace Clearfield. He was preceded in death by brothers, Howard and Ray. Funeral services were held November 9 at the Roosevelt LDS West Stake Center. Burial in the Ioka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to a Boys State scholarship fund set up at 1st Security Bank in Clarence memory. W. Nephi Whitney Nephi, 37, Ft. Duchesne, died Friday, November 8, in the Duchesne County Hospital. He was born December 23, 1953 in Vemal to Fernando and Darlend Pasecho Nephi, Sr. He married Mildred Kay Burson. He erjqyed hunting, watching football, and archery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his companion, Mildred, Ft Duchesne; daughter, One Woodsey Nephi, Ft Duchesne; brother and sisters, Lonnie "Dusty" Nephi, Indian Bench; Phyllis Hendricks, Ft. Hall, Idaho; Pauline Nephi, Jacqueline Lee, both Ft. Duchesne; Alexis Nephi, White-rock- s. two LDS missions-firs- t in genealogy and then as a stake missionary in Los Angeles. She is survived by her son, Stuart A. Frayne, Seattle; brother, Heber Galloway, San Rafael, Calif.; sisters, Annie Hales, Delta; Leora Zupko, Roosevelt; Maurine Taylor, West Valley City. Funeral services were held November 6. Interment was held Friday, November 8, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. Graveside services were held November 12 at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery. Olive was born on May 4, 1906 in Maeser to John Wesley Galloway and Annie Elizabeth Bowden. She grew up in the Uintah Basin. She graduated from Duchesne County High School in 1925 and attended the University of Utah on scholarship, receiving a B.S. degree in home economics Olive married Morton Anthony Bentley on February 22, 1948, in Santa Monica, Calif. They were ' later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on August 17, 1957.
