The following relatives went to the River Jordan Temple June 21 to witness the marriage of Devere Hunt and Toni Bingham. DeLyle Allsop, Roger Howes, Carolyn and Russell and Clell Woodward, Shirley Lee, hazel and Dennis Jensen, Dean Hamblin, DarVell and Gayla Hunt, Udell Hunt, Gary and Lou Colton and son, Larry, Kyle Shupe, Mike Horrocks, and David and Fontella Hunt. A reception was held in Altamont June 22 those attending were: Robert and Dorothy Madsen from Richfield, Dean and Remo Hamblin, Shirley Lee and daughter, Kara Lyn from Ogden, Clell and Carolyn Woodward and son, Kevin, DeLyle Allsop and daughter, Tara and Tracy from Orem, Hazel and Dennis Jensen and Denny, Darvell and Gayla Hunt and Udel Hunt for Provo, Lou Colton and daughters, Laura and Ann. The young couple was married on Deveres mothers birthday. Brent and Dean Powell were home from SLC over the weekend to help their dad, Boyd Powell. Dean Hamblin enjoyed several visits last week from brother, Bob and Dorothy Madsen from Richfield. Ruth Haslem is baby sitting her three grandchildren. Their mother, Tammy Haslem is a patient in the Duchesne Co. Hospital for major surgery. The Max and Nola Nelson family reunion was held Thursday through Sunday at the Ivy Powell Park. There were also birthdays, anniversaries and births during this time period. Attending were Ted and Gayle Nelson and sons, Lyn and David from Clinton, Larry and LaRae Nelson, Glen and Kim Nelson and son of Ogden, Paul and Kathy Nelson and girls of Dugway, Ina Lee and AD. Shaw, Michelle and Rex Fabrizio and family of West Valley City, Dennis Nelson and son of Provo, Karen Brown, Lynette Margin g and six children, Luanna and Terry Erickson and girls, Denis Ori and friend, Ron and four children from Price, Darrin and Ann Brown of Strawberry, Cheri and Dale Womack, Julie Loveland and children, Ky, Deborah and Mike McKneachi and family, Scot and Paige Womack of Vernal, Penny and Bob Shaw and family, Randy Nelson and the Max Nelsons. The unique and lovely home is complimented by her aunt, spent time in Salt Lake City at the Holy Cross Hospital where she underwent ear surgery. Karen is recuperating at home. Virginia Tyler, Canon City, Colorado, is here visiting with her sister, Louise Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jenkins of Morgan traveled to the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mwphy of Rtxisevelt where they spent the night and the following morning, accompnnied by Mrs. Murphy, they traveled to Price where they visited with Mrs. Murphys sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Creamer. They spent the night in Laverkin and traveled on to Las Vegas where they attended the wedding recep- and Mrs. David Jen- tion of Mr. kins. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jenkins. Mrs. Reese Murphy and her daughter, Evah, spent last weekend with her mother, Baleah Nybeiy and other relatives in the Roosevelt area. Mrs. Murphy lives in Leeds, Utah. Recent visitors at Zelma Lloyds home was her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gam Lloyd from Spring-villThey spent the day with her and all enjoyed dinner accompanied by Doyle and Carol Lloyd. Steven and Gwen Duncan and 6 children travelled to San Diego to his brothers, Cory and Pam Duncans for a week. They brought back Tyler, Corys son, to stay with them for 3 weeks. They stopped on their way home in Cedar City to visit a sister, Marianne Searcy and family and spent a night in Las Vegas with friends, Doug and Kelly Lund. Laura Haslem of San Francisco spent a week with their parents, Verl and Leah Haslem and grandmother, Lois Duncan and other relatives in the Basin. Bonnie Duncan went to Provo one day last week and took her grandson, Nathan, to meet his mother, Marianne Stearcy to go to Cedar City. Don and Glenice Palmer and granddaughter, Jennie of California are visiting with her mother, Delma Long and other relatives in the Basin. Great grandfather is Ray Barney of Roosevelt and great grandmother is Lillian Mair of England. Parley Smart had an opportunity to attend an NRECA Computer Seminar held in St. Louis Missouri June 16th through the 19th. His wife, Earlene and his mother-in-laLeah Allred, went along. The week before the convention they had the opportunity, of driving'on to North Carolina to do genealogy work on their Allred line and to go through the actual documents of estate records, will and court proceeding, dating back as early as 1752.
